-PHOTO GALLERY » REFORESTATIONS

Currently Retiro Santo Antônio, within its 316 acres, has 48.8 acres (196,200 m2) of conserved areas (native forests and reforestation). Since 2004 the farm has been fulfilling a schedule of reforestation, to date (2013) were planted  5,867 native trees of Atlantic Forest in 19.3 acres divided into 13 fragments (RF-1 to RF-13), with priority given to Areas for Permanent Preservation (APPs) and creation of ecological corridors for the movement of wild animals.

As most of this work has been done with our own resources, with the goal of doing more in less time, in 2013 we launched the Sweet Hope Project, through with any person acquiring 2 tubes of Honey produced at the Farm, sponsors the planting of 1 seedling and the necessary management for 3 years <Learn more>

Below you can follow the progress of reforestation held at the Farm and the maps of 2004 and 2013 that illustrate the development of areas with forest.
